SIK Golf Partners with GolfPlus to Host Entry Level Professional Events!

In 2019, GolfPlus, a marketing and golf operations agency approached one of the hottest putter companies in the US, SIK Golf (SIK stands for Study in Kinematics), with the intention of starting a new golf tour for the entry level professional. Both organizations share a passion for the game and both recognized the need to provide players with the best platform to compete so that they can pursue their dreams and aspirations of making it to the PGA Tour.
GolfPlus is a newly formed agency managed by three professionals (Chip Hoch, Dan Crowther and Thomas Byrne) that have been working in the golf business for the last 8 years. This dedicated and experienced team has worked together assisting the largest junior golf tour in the US in becoming the very successful program that it is today. GolfPlus’ areas of expertise include the following: Tournament Operations, Event Management, Marketing, Social Media, Website Development / Management and Strategic Planning / Development.
After starting the agency, Golfplus approached SIK Golf based in Winter Garden, FL with the plan to start a new entry level pro tour with the goal of giving entry level professionals a tour they can play on year-round. The GolfPlus team wants to change the expectations of the players that compete at this level and is driven to provide a PGA Tour feel to these aspiring players. Chip Hoch, Co-founder of Golfplus who has played at the professional level explains, "Breaking through the noise of mini-tour golf is the hardest part of any professional’s career. It is a shame that mini-tours currently do not provide a stable platform that can propel and support these professionals until they get to the next level."
After GolfPlus established the foundation of the tour, SIK Golf was excited to partner with the new tour and consequently earned the naming rights for its inaugural year. Thus, naming the tour, "The SIK Golf Tour." SIK Golf's President and owner Steve Harrison said, "This was a no brainer for us. Our passion is to help mini-tour professionals achieve the highest level and this will now give us a platform to do so." The team of dedicated professionals at GolfPlus has played a major role in the growth and development of the Junior Golf and they look to bring the same drive and passion in helping players make it to the next step in their professional careers on the SIK Golf Tour.

The putter company was formed as a result of the love for "putting." Before there was SIK Golf the team members at SIK were coaching and refining our system through quantifiable trials using a variety of methods. We developed a putting philosophy and methodology that is intuitive and backed by empirical data, our methodology is truly a benefit to every player (in part or in sum).
